What Was Supposed to Be Simple

I started this blog with humble intentions — just a test run, nothing serious. But somewhere along the way, I decided I wanted to make it a real blog. A regular one. The kind that people actually subscribe to and read.

That's when things got complicated.

The RSS Feed Problem Nobody Warned Me About

Here's where I hit a wall: connecting an RSS feed to a newsletter.

An RSS feed (short for "Really Simple Syndication") is a tool that automatically delivers your latest blog posts to subscribers — so instead of manually sending out each post, the process happens on its own. It sounds straightforward. It is not.

I have been at it for the better part of two days, and I am frustrated and fed up.

Why I'm Not Taking the Easy Way Out

Could I just enter each blog post into the newsletter by hand? Sure. Technically, yes.

But here's the thing — I'm building this blog with the future in mind. I'm hoping that down the road I'll have enough subscribers and content that doing everything manually simply isn't an option anymore.

I want to build this the right way from the start.

Instead of writing some fake, hidden placeholder post while I sort out the technical mess behind the scenes, I thought — why not just be honest?
